Red Merlin is a hybrid unit who can provide some degree of DPS, but mainly shines as an utility unit with an oppressive kit that is able to lock enemy skills or freeze her enemies.
She is mainly used in an Unknown units team along with Emilia and Rimuru to completely shut down her enemies by freezing them consecutively or locking their attack skills.
Overall, Red Merlin is a strong unit capable of buying time for her allies by locking skills or entire units. Her preferable build would be HP-Defense given that she’s supposed to stay on the field for as long as possible, creating a difficult environment for her enemies as opposed to dealing damage.

Merlin is the Boar's Sin of Gluttony of the Seven Deadly Sins. She is regarded as the greatest mage in Britannia. Her Sacred Treasure is the Morning Star Aldan, a floating orb she can summon at will and often uses in conjunction with her spells and her inherent power Infinity. The name "Merlin" is actually an alias as her true name is unpronounceable to humans.
