Summary[]
Red Derieri is a solid and simple DPS unit. She is able to deal impressive amounts of damage thanks to her kit which focuses on making her stronger over time, as long as she keeps using skills.
Although vulnerable to buff removals, stuns, freeze and locks, she can be a decent pick for PVP against ranged units thanks to her Commandment which decreases the damage dealt by ranged skills by 35%. She’s also a reliable unit for PVE content such as Death Match Original Demon, Crimson Demon Howlex, and Extreme and below difficulties of Red Demon.
Due to her relationship with Monspeet in the anime’s storyline, she has an Association with him in both his variants Red and Green [“Reasons for Looking After Her”], which increases the Associated hero’s basic stats by 5% and increases basic stats by 1% per Ultimate Move level, as well as provides a special Association effect of 340 Defense increase.

- Loses Attack boost from Unique if a card is not used on any given turn so skill disable can pose a threat to her
- Her kit is focused on attacking one single enemy.
- Commandment also works on your own units as well as enemy units
- Highly vulnerable to any kind of buff removal
Skill Review[]
Red Derieri’s primary attack skill, “Darkness Hand,” is a melee skill that can inflict high damage. Although it lacks a special effect, this can be a useful feature since it can help her freely attack enemies equipped with Red Tarmiel’s Grace or attack enemies with Restrict Skill Effects abilities (such as Blue Chandler or Green MK-II Valenti).
Her second skill, “Injection,” increases her basic stats. From level 2, it also grants her evasion, making her immune to any damage or enemy skill (except that of Ultimate Moves).
Her Ultimate skill, “Combo Star,” inflicts Amplify damage on one enemy. Even at level 1, it is capable of dealing impressive amounts of damage if enough buffs are given to Derieri. This move becomes even more effective when used in combination with her “Injection” Buff skill or when she has fought for a decent amount of turns.
Derieri has a Commandment as well. Her Commandment of Purity decreases the damage of ranged skills by 35% in PvP. This applies to both allies and enemies when entering battle (except for Ultimate Moves) hence, it would be advised to rely on melee skills in her team. This Commandment applies only in PvP and has no impact in PvE.
Her Unique ability is her greatest asset and what makes her such a solid damage dealer. Every time she uses a skill, her Attack is increased by 10% (up to 10 times). This effect gets removed if no skills are used in a single turn so she’s highly dependent on RNG.

Red Derieri isn’t used as much currently since she needs a lot of time to build up.
Although she is a powerful unit, she needs to keep using her skills to be a bigger threat. Also, any sort of Buff Removal (including Freeze) or any skill which disables her from fighting will destroy her strategy since she needs to remain active. Her Commandment can have some use since it decreases the damage done by ranged skills in PVP. While this is useful for enemies, unfortunately, this also applies to her allies, so if you are going to use her then make sure you aren’t using any unit with ranged skills.
Each skill card has either a sword symbol (for a melee skill) or a bow and arrow symbol (for a ranged skill) so keep this in mind.
SP Dungeon and PvE Farming[]
Since she doesn’t have any AoE attacks, Red Derieri is not an optimal choice for PvE farming -- while she does deal a lot of damage, she takes longer to finish off levels than other heroes with AoE who would be better suited for farming/grinding. She’s great overall for story mode or as a reliable unit for starters in clearing difficult stages due to her buff with the evade skill though.
Death Matches[]
Red Derieri is great for Crimson Demon Howlex if lacking better options such as Dark Traitor Meliodas or Red Reinhard. She can easily one-shot Howlex in Phase 3 with her Ultimate with enough stacks of her passive.
A Derieri-led team can even solo the Hell level on this boss. This can be done by utilizing her buff card (second skill) at rank 2 and rank 3 to survive until the final phase, and then have her Ultimate ready to one-shot the boss on the final phase.
She can also be useful for Original Demon and for lower difficulties of Red Demon.
Other[]
Red Derieri is also a good choice for Knighthood Boss Kelak if you don’t have Blue Megellda. For Story content where you need a lot of damage and you don’t have other options, Derieri is a solid choice as well. Her preferred gear is Attack/Defense to maximize her damage and stay on the field.
Even though she’s an old unit, Red Derieri can still be useful in some situations.

Story[]
Derieri is an elite warrior of the Demon Clan, serving directly under the Demon King as the Purity of the Ten Commandments.
As a member of the Ten Commandments, Derieri is exceptionally powerful. Like all members of the Demon Clan, she is able to utilize the mysterious jet-black power of darkness, as previously seen by Meliodas, to form wings for flight. Her aura, combined with the aura of the other Ten Commandments is so terrifying that it made the normally calm Hendrickson sweat in fear by their presence and unnerved Meliodas when he felt it from several kilometers away.
Derieri was the first demon to showcase the power to devour the souls of the other races, leaving them as empty husks. Like Monspeet, she has incredible sensory abilities as only she and him were able to sense that the Ten Commandments were being watched by Meliodas' comrades from several kilometers away at Liones castle.
