Introduction[]

In this mode, you will have to create a team from a selection provided to you to defeat all 3 floors of the Labyrinth. They will all begin at level 1 when you start, and all subsequent units added to your team will all retain the same level and awakening state going forward until you reset everything. It is imperative that you level your units appropriately and make use of the mode’s new passive addition system.

You will also play through a series of panels. Some will allow you to shop for upgrades or characters, while others may simply grant you more levels. Make sure you check out what each panel will do for you before entering, but you can also check as you go along.

A new addition in this Labyrinth is the introduction of Guardian Stones. These can be purchased in the shop and carry over into each Labyrinth run you do. They are only lost and reset when the current Labyrinth season ends entirely. There are three kinds: The Stone of Wrath, Stone of Protection, and Stone of Life which increase some Attack-related stats, Defense-related stats, and HP-related stats respectively. They do not appear in every shop tile and only appear randomly. Always purchase them if you can. They are not required to win but will make runs significantly easier.

Below are images for the new entrance, list of the stone effects, and how it appears when purchasing one in the shop (in that order):

Passives[]

Throughout the adventure, you’ll be able to acquire passive skills that will apply to all your allies such as these:

Labyrinthpassivestones

There is no perfect amount of passives to have, simply get as much as you believe you’ll need. For this iteration of Labyrinth, The best ones seem to be the ones that increase the attack of a certain race or an increase for Attack depending on how full the Ultimate Move Gauge is.

Note: There are four passives that you automatically start out with. Make sure to read them so you can use them in your team building and strategy.

Floor 1 Strategy[]

Out of the starting lineup characters, Red Halloween Matrona is easily the best choice. Not only is she great for the final floor due to Buff Removal skills being imperative to beat it, but she also serves as a good tanking/healing character for both Floor 1 and Floor 3 bosses. Floor 2 can easily have her be killed without the right passives, but reviving her after the fight is very straightforward. Lastly, there are some passives that apply to Giants that can make Matrona a very strong DPS option. Some include increasing Giant race allies’ Attack-related stats base line or increasing it heavily with a full Ultimate Gauge.

While other units like Blue Valentines Derieri can also remove Buffs, utilizing Demons in this Labyrinth isn’t as effective as the best Demons rarely if ever appear to be used as characters and there aren’t any female-centric passives. Moreover, her Taunt skill is only good for one turn in most instances, forcing you to constantly replenish it and wasting time.

In terms of planning out future teams, making one consisting of Giants is a viable strategy, as well as one utilizing Ragnarok characters. Some Ragnarok characters that can be acquired are Red Skadi, Red Brunhild, Red Tyr, and Red Ragnarok Ban. Green Drole is also a nice choice for controlling enemy Ultimate Moves for Giants.

Green Demon Chandler Boss Fight[]

The big gimmick with this fight is that Chandler can gain Immortality above a certain HP threshold and that Chandler will constantly remove Buffs from your team. The easiest way to beat this stage is to grab passives that increase ally damage with a full Ultimate Gauge, rush Matrona’s Ultimate Move, and attack once with her Buff Removal skill (removing Chandler’s immortality) and killing him with her Ultimate Move. Other than that, he shouldn’t do much damage to anyone on your team.

Floor 2 Strategy[]

In this floor, you can obtain characters such as Green Deathpierce who can help your team Crit reliably. He’s a good choice if you can get him. Otherwise, just do what you did in Floor 1 and grab whatever units benefit the setup you are going for.

Blue Cusack Boss Fight[]

This boss’ gimmick is that he destroys one of your skills for every attack he deals to your team but he lowers his defense once per turn. Once again, the easiest strategy is to simply rush an Ultimate Move with an HP-attribute (Green) ally and simply one-shotting Cusack. Alternatively, you can keep whittling him down as you see fit. Just be careful with Red Matrona in this fight. If you got a defensive-based passive for her she can survive or if you have someone like Green Valentines Melascula then she can provide some extra protection for Matrona.

Nice job! Onto the last floor.

Floor 3 Strategy[]

By this point, your team should be in the low 90s in terms of character level which means ordinary battles will max out your team, avoiding the need for level up panels. As such, grab any Awakening Panels you need/can.

In this floor, you can obtain characters such as Red Tyr and Red Freyja. If you went for a Giant-centric team, Red Skadi can be acquired here as well. Once again, proceed through the floor as normal.

Red Demon King Boss Fight[]

This fight is pretty trivial if you have a character (or two) that can remove Buffs from enemies. The Demon King will heal some of the damage he takes per turn, but it isn’t significant enough to truly matter. So long as you keep removing the Buffs he applies on himself every turn, you should outlast him. Red Skadi is a great unit here as she deals good damage, removes Buffs, and Debuffs the enemy with Debuffs applied on herself.

Victory and Depths[]

Congratulations! You just beat the Labyrinth!

After beating the Demon King, you will have the choice to either reset the map or go into the depths. Within the depths, you can farm for Labyrinth Points which can be used in the season shop to acquire extra rewards. Be aware that the bosses within the depths are immune to Debuff effects, so it is recommended to go in with a team that can work without Debuffing the enemy.
