Main factors of getting high points

Kelak Boss

The goal is to inflict high finishing damage to get the max value of points.

  1. Final damage on the boss - Additional points are added in proportion to the highest damage dealt against the boss.
  2. Clearing speed - Points are deducted in proportion to the number of turns used. After the 7th turn, succeeding turns will deduct a significant amount of points to your total score.
  3. Points from Skill cards - AoE buffs give a lot of points.
  4. Remaining HP and number of surviving allies - Additional points are added in proportion to the team’s health status.
  5. There are 3 additional missions you can accomplish to get more points and these missions change every week.

Akumu Boss Strategy and Teams

Pierce, Mono-Red, and Lostvayne Meliodas teams are the current meta in defeating this boss. Its shield redirects all attacks away from the boss to avoid damage, hence, an AOE attacker is needed. That way you can still inflict damage despite the taunt effect.

Pierce Team

Heroes with strong AOE Pierce attacks are highly recommended. Blue Demon Meliodas, Green Rugal, and Red Howzer are three of the best heroes with this type of attack. Adding in Blue Lillia to amplify Pierce damage makes it easier to defeat the boss.

General Strategy (Normal & Hard)

  1. Use HP food buff. More points are added in proportion to your team’s remaining HP.
  2. First Turn: use all non-pierce cards to collect as many pierce cards as you can on your next turn.
  3. Rank up the pierce cards via combine and skill-ups from Red Gowther.
  4. Finish the boss with a succession of Silver and Gold pierce cards.

General Strategy (Extreme)

  1. Use HP food buff. More points are added in proportion to your team’s remaining HP.
  2. First Turn: use all non-pierce cards to collect as many pierce cards as you can on your next turn. You’d want to have good RNG luck because a lot of pierce cards are needed to be drawn on turns 2, 3, and 4. If you are not getting any pierce cards, then restart the battle.
  3. Second Turn: use 1 or 2 pierce cards to chip in a good amount of damage. Do not destroy the Sword and Shield because the boss increases its Attack-related stats every time an ally dies. Also, leaving the boss standing alone on the battlefield triggers a unique effect where it becomes invulnerable for 2 turns.
  4. Use Blue Lillia’s heal cards when you get the chance to recover HP, usually on turns 2 and 3.
  5. By turn 3 or 4 depending on the amount of pierce cards you have, use ranked up pierce cards to finish phase 1. It is important to have at least 2 pierce cards remaining on your hand before entering phase 2.
  6. At the start of phase 2, use the opportunity to chip in some damage and rank up the pierce cards via combine and skill-ups from Red Gowther. Ideally, you’d want to have multiple Gold pierce cards.
  7. On either turn 2 or 3 of phase 2, finish the boss with a succession of pierce attacks.

Mono-Red Team

Certain strength-type heroes can form a Mono-Red team with high HP from their unique abilities. Red Howzer increases Human allies' basic stats by 8%, Red Arthur increases HP-related stats of human allies by 15%, and Red Twigo increases Strength attribute allies' HP by 30%. Since all three are from the human race, their buffs will affect each other. A strong AOE attacker like Red Lostvayne Meliodas will also have his HP stat increased from Red Twigo.

General Strategy (Normal)

  1. Red Lostvayne Meliodas should have minimal defense because you need to activate his unique ability when the boss attacks. To do this, unregister all of his Outfit and replace Necklace and Earrings to a lower quality.
  2. Use HP food buff. More points are added in proportion to your team’s remaining HP.
  3. First Turn: Rush Red Howzer’s Ultimate Move by moving 3 of his cards and using one of his cards to attack. During Akumu’s first turn, he will attack and apply crit on Red Lostvayne Meliodas which will rank up his cards due to the effect of his unique ability.
  4. Second Turn: Use 1 Red Howzer card to fill his Ultimate Move Gauge; then rush Red Lostvayne Meliodas’ Ultimate Move by moving 2 of his cards and attack using a Gold “Division Impact” card.
  5. Third turn: Use Red Howzer’s Ultimate Move; then apply Red Arthur’s buff before using Red Lostvayne Meliodas’ Ultimate Move to finish the boss.

General Strategy (Hard)

  1. Use HP food buff. More points are added in proportion to your team’s remaining HP.
  2. First Turn: use any cards that are not from Red Lostvayne Meliodas. You’ll need good RNG luck to collect three “Triple Avatar” cards before turn 3. If you are not getting these cards, then restart the battle. During Akumu’s turns, he will attack and apply crit on Red Lostvayne Meliodas which will rank up his “Triple Avatar” cards.
  3. Second Turn: Maximize card draw for your next turn. Before starting turn 3, you should already have three Gold “Triple Avatar” cards.
  4. Third turn: Apply Red Arthur’s buff before using three “Triple Avatar” cards to finish the boss.

General Strategy (Extreme)

  1. Use HP or Attack food buff. If you use HP food, more points will be added in proportion to your team’s remaining HP. If you use Attack food, this will help you burst down Akumu in phase 2.
  2. Use Red Kyo if you have him, his Ignite debuffs will tremendously increase your damage output.
  3. The goal in phase 1 is to collect four “Triple Avatar” cards. On turn 1, throw away and use cards of other heroes as you start filling up Red Lostvayne Meliodas’ Ultimate Move Gauge.
  4. Do not use Red Lostvayne Meliodas’ Ultimate Move until you have four Gold “Triple Avatar” cards. Usually, you’ll achieve this entering turn 5. Meanwhile, maximize draws by forcing your cards to naturally merge. If you happen to use a Red Elizabeth, fill up and use her Ultimate Move when ready.
  5. Once four Gold “Triple Avatar” cards have been achieved, you can now use the Ultimate Move of Red Lostvayne Meliodas. This will one-shot the boss leading you to phase 2.
  6. In phase 2, you need to burst the boss and finish within two turns. You’ll be able to do it with four Gold “Triple Avatar” cards. If you happen to use Red Kyo, his Ignite debuffs will increase your damage output.

Red Lostvayne Meliodas Team

The strategy is to rush Red Lostvayne Meliodas’ Ultimate Move to defeat the boss.

In Extreme difficulty, you’ll need to rush and use your Ultimate Move twice for phases 1 and 2. It is crucial to have a rank 3 Barrier card from Blue Goddess Elizabeth or Green Merlin before entering phase 2 so you can block Akumu from depleting Red Lostvayne Meliodas’ Ultimate Move Gauge.

General Strategy (Normal)

  1. Use HP food buff. More points are added in proportion to your team’s remaining HP.
  2. First Turn: use any cards that are not from Red Lostvayne Meliodas.
  3. Second Turn: rush Red Lostvayne Meliodas’ Ultimate Move and finish the battle next turn.

General Strategy (Hard)

  1. Use HP or Attack food buff. If you use HP food, more points will be added in proportion to your team’s remaining HP. If you use Attack food, this will help increase the amount of damage your Barrier can absorb.
  2. First Turn: use any cards that are not from Red Lostvayne Meliodas.
  3. Second Turn: rank up the Barrier to a Gold or Silver Card.
  4. Third Turn: use the Barrier card to protect Red Lostvayne Meliodas just after filling his Ultimate Move Gauge. You’ll be able to use the Ultimate Move and finish the battle next turn.

General Strategy (Extreme)

  1. Use HP or Attack food buff. If you use HP food, more points will be added in proportion to your team’s remaining HP. If you use Attack food, this will help increase the amount of damage your Barrier can absorb.
  2. First Turn: use any cards that are not from Red Lostvayne Meliodas; you’ll need his cards and collect as many as you can on turns 2 and 3. If you are not getting these cards, then restart the battle.
  3. Second Turn: rush Red Lostvayne Meliodas’ Ultimate Move so you can use it next turn.
  4. Third Turn: Merge and rank up a Gold Barrier card as you clear phase 1 with Red Lostvayne Meliodas’ Ultimate.
  5. Entering phase 2, remember to use the Gold Barrier card as you’re able to fill Red Lostvayne Meliodas’ Ultimate Move Gauge for the second time. This step is crucial because Akumu can deplete a hero’s Ultimate Move Gauge when damage is taken.
  6. Finish the battle with Red Lostvayne Meliodas’ Ultimate Move.
