Intro[]

Heading into this boss fights there are some quick notes to be aware of first. The first note is Kelak is a very fragile boss meaning this boss has a poor health and defense pool out of the 4 Knighthood boss battles. The second note is since the boss is naturally weak you may need to strip down your support unit's gear sets and costumes to avoid them from doing too much damage to Kelak. The third note doesn’t apply to most people, but in order to achieve a high achieving score you will need an ignite debuff applier and an AOE buffer applier.

Normal, Hard, and Extreme Strategies[]

These three difficulties involve the same strategies. High-point teams stack up debuffs and buffs followed by a high multiplier ultimate commonly from Megellda, Berserk Estarossa, or Red Derieri. For a simple clear look at the challenges for the week and adjust. Most modern units can one-shot or speedrun through the boss for fast points, but it is recommended you try to aim for high points for those sweet rewards. Generally, you don’t have to worry about building units to the maximum rank as this boss is easy all around.

Hell[]

Strategy[]

Heading into hell difficulty is a lot different from the rest of the difficulties but straightforward in the sense of earning points. If you are looking to achieve a high score you are pretty much reading the challenges for that week and building around them. If you are just looking for the clear it's recommended to bring a cleanser, Kelak does gain bonus stats from your team being debuffed and deals extra damage to debuffed targets.

General Strategy[]

One of the best ways to fight the Knighthood boss is to involve freezing the boss, buffing your attacker’s offensive stats, and dealing massive damage on your final hit. In all difficulties, Kelak does not have a passive to do extra damage to a certain race so powerful characters like The One Ultimate Escanor, Purgatory Meliodas, and Blue Festival King can make this boss a breeze.

Main factors of getting high points[]

  1. Final damage on the boss - Additional points are added in proportion to the highest damage dealt against the boss.
  2. Clearing speed - Points are deducted in proportion to the number of turns used. After the 7th turn, succeeding turns will deduct a significant amount of points to your total score.
  3. Points from Skill cards - AoE buffs give a lot of points.
  4. Remaining HP and number of surviving allies - Additional points are added in proportion to the team’s health status.

There are 3 additional missions you can accomplish to get more points and these missions change every week.

Knighthood Boss Missions

Basically, the ultimate goal of the Knighthood Boss is to do as much finishing damage as possible to the boss and get the max value of points!

Building your team[]

Here are a few tips to maximize your score and get all rewards:

Attackers:[]

Red Derieri and Green Jerico are the best attackers for Knighthood Boss Kelak as a F2P player. In Red Derieri’s case, just use a skill every turn to stack up her unique effect and finally use the Ultimate skill to finish off the boss (Ideally, you’d want to reach the maximum of 10 stacks before releasing the Ultimate). Alternatively, you can use Green Jerico which you can buy from the coin shop. Same thing with Derieri, you are stacking Jerico’s passive and pushing for an ultimate.

For the veteran accounts / long-term accounts units like Berserk Estarossa preferably needs to be 4/6 or higher ultimate level to be able to use the strategies consistently. Luckily units like Megellda are available to use as an alternative to Estarossa. The only downside is that the setups take slightly more rng and time.

Gearing up your units[]

Your DPS units should be built on Crit Damage and Attack sets but HP and Defense can work as well depending on your situation of course. The picture provided down below gives insight into the unit stats heading in also card set to bring along. (Note: picture is shown as an example of how you can adapt and change things around according to what your account has access to.)
