A number of top tier SSR and SR heroes are surprisingly available for free by purchasing them in the Coin Shop.  This is one of the many ways in which F2P players can continue to progress in the game without spending money.  For more ways on how to earn in-game currency, review the F2P guide under the Tips category. Several SSR units and other things are available in the Coin Shop. You will receive a coin whenever you summon a duplicate of a hero you’ve already unlocked. You can then spend coins on heroes you don’t want to buy. It is a great way to spend dupes and keep up with other players.

When you click on a unit in the Coin Shop, you will see the units you have at max Ultimate Move level (also known as “6/6 units”). As a rule of thumb, you shouldn’t use any coins from any unit you don’t have at 6/6; this is to maximize the CC of your account and put all your resources to use. Also, in the long run, it’s better to have a 6/6 unit than two units at 1/6.

The most cost-effective way to spend SSR Coins is Super Awakening or waiting for specific Heroes to appear in the Event Shop Limited-Time Sale section (if you want to spend in the Coin Shop). This section changes weekly and will apply to Heroes available in the Coin Shop. Also, the Event Shop during Festivals will include specific special units during celebrations. For example, during Festivals, several Festival Units will appear here. These can only be bought using Festival Coins. Furthermore, Collab units corresponding to the ongoing Collab will also appear in the Event Shop. Like Festival Units, you can only buy Collab units using Collab coins.

The below sections describe what are the best investments to purchase from each of the Coin Shops.

Friendship Coin Shop[]

You can get coins from this shop in 4 different ways:

  1. By using mercenaries (units from your friends appearing in the team composition screen)
  2. By having your units used as mercenaries by your friends (you can choose which units they can get by placing the most potent units you have in your team 1, those will appear for your friends)
  3. By visiting your friend’s taverns from your friend list.
  4. By sending Friendship Coins to your friends (also from your friend list) with the “Send” and “Send All” buttons.

You should primarily use these coins for buying:

  • Stamina Pots Stamina Recovery Potion: These will let you keep farming the other currencies in the game repeatedly, let you play the Story Mode, and interact with different kinds of content.
  • Fight Festival Entry Ticket Fight Festival Entry Ticket: To keep playing in PVP when you can’t wait to recharge, you can buy these at 200 a piece, making it a fantastic deal (much better than 3 for one diamond). A tip: buy enough to have at most four at a time so the recharge timer won’t restart.
  • Event Dungeon Key Bundle Event Dungeon Key Bundle: These keys come in packs of 3 (using one charge will give you three keys to the Event Dungeon). These are useful to try to farm pendants in Fort Solgres. Like the Fight Festival Entry, ensure you don’t have more than four keys active simultaneously. This is especially important since it takes 8 hours to recharge each key.

Silver Coin Shop[]

The most common of them all, you should visit the Silver Coin Shop at least once a day to get the free chest. Other than that, in this shop you should only buy:

  • Stamina Pots Stamina Recovery Potion: As explained above, you need the stamina to play most of the PVE content in the game.
  • Event Dungeon Key Bundle Event Dungeon Key Bundle: This is not a particularly good trade since the exchange ratio is barely good, although it’s the second-best thing where you can use these coins.

Ignore the Race Draw Tickets since the chances of getting an SSR unit (specifically the one you want) are low.

Gold Coin Shop[]

The primary use for Gold Coins should be Super Awakening. But since we’re working in this Coin Shop, here’s what you should buy with them:

  • Icon craft costume material brokkrs strength Icon craft costume material eitris meticulousness Brokkr’s Strength and Eitri’s Meticulousness: Materials for your Holy Relics. Since there will be times when you will go out of these, it would be helpful for you to buy these at least once or twice a week if you can’t consistently farm the Demonic Beasts.

Out of these, it’s strongly recommended not to buy anything else from this shop since these coins have better uses (they have the best conversion ratio on Super Awakening).

Platinum Coin Shop[]

In this Coin Shop, it’s not worth buying anything since the exchange ratio is too high, and most of these are old units. If you still want to purchase these units, you should wait for them to appear in the Event Shop as a Limited Time Sale (and even then, you should think twice before buying a Regular Coin Shop unit from there)

Festival Coin Shop[]

Same as in the Platinum Coin Shop, there’s nothing worth buying here since they take (as stated in their name) Festival Coins, which are even rarer than regular SSR coins.

Event Coin Shop[]

In the Event Coin Shop, specific deals will appear weekly, presenting certain units at lower prices, such as members of the Seven Deadly Sins for 5 SSR coins and members of the 10 Commandments for 7 SSR coins. In this category, these are the units you should aim to buy:

  • Rgowther Red Gowther: Great for his rank-ups, Unique and utility overall in PVP and PVE, a highly versatile unit that will grant a lot of utility to any team you use him in.
  • Gelizabeth Green Princess Elizabeth: She’s useful for all kinds of content, including endgame content such as Demonic Beast Battles, a great unit focused on healing.
  • Bfraudrin Blue Fraudrin: A suicide unit, Blue Fraudrin’s primary use is in Ult Rush teams which take advantage of his Unique, filling the Ultimate Move Gauges of all his allies as soon as he dies.
  • Bban Blue Ban: Same as Green Princess Elizabeth, he’s useful for all kinds of content, including endgame content, specifically for Patience teams in Demonic Beast Battles.
  • Rdmeliodas Red Demon Meliodas: An excellent link unit and can find some use in Crimson Demon Howlex.
  • Gmonspeet Green Monspeet: If you don’t have Red Kyo, Green Monspeet can have a lot of use for you, especially with many dupes he can prove useful in certain Event Battles such as Crockshell or for Knighthood Boss Battle Kelak by increasing the number of Ignites on his Ultimate Move.

Depending on the moment of the game, also Festival Units will be available to buy (for other Festival Coins) if a Festival is going on. On the other hand, if a Collab is underway, those units will also appear here.

Along with these, certain items will appear available to buy during special dates or events such as Christmas, Valentine’s Day, or similar.

Applying the same criteria for Festival Coins is recommended: don’t buy units using coins of heroes you haven’t maxed yet.
