Hero Guide[]
Blue Festival Ludociel was made available on 7DSGC Global’s August 24th, 2021 update. In general, Festival Ludociel is used as a support unit in both PVP and PVE content. His offensive ability can be lacking against modern units but it is not too important considering his role on the team. Other units can make up the difference easily. Moreover, Ludociel is used in a few teams in PVP i.e. the Goddess team or any team attempting to rush Ultimate Moves. In PVE, Ludociel is used on teams with many different compositions depending on the stage being attempted.
Pros[]
- A must-have unit for the Goddess team
- Buff skill is excellent for countering Debuff teams and increasing team survivability
- Maxed Ultimate Move skill disable effect can cripple the enemy team in PVP
Cons[]
- Weak offensively (excluding Ultimate Move)
- Reliant on a high Ultimate Move level for added utility
- Cleanse can be blocked out by Buff Disable or Block Skill Effect
Skill Review[]
Holy Blade - An AOE attack that ignores the enemies’ Defense. Today, the move is weak offensively speaking. It is not recommended to rely on this move to deal high damage to modern units due to their increased defensive stats.
Breath of Bless - This Buff is one of the best in the game. Being able to remove Debuffs while increasing the team's survivability and offense is still effective. Moreover, this allows him to activate his Unique Ability throughout the course of the battle. This skill helps counter skills such as Dissolve.
Ultimate: Opening Greeting - Ludociel’s Ultimate Move is still a hard-hitting move. When at the max level, the added effect of disabling skill effects is fantastic in PVP assuming the enemy team can not remove the Debuff.
Unique: Distorted Holiness - Ludociel’s Unique Ability complements well with Goddess Race allies, increasing their basic stats (Attack, Defense, and HP) by 8% every time an ally uses a stance or Buff skill up to 5 times. The Goddess team generally likes to build up their stats over time so Ludociel is a staple within the team.
Grace: [Advent of Flash] Grace of Flash - All the Archangels have their own exclusive Grace ability. Festival Ludociel's Grace is certainly one of the weaker ones, but having a Grace is effectively an extra Unique Ability so it doesn't hurt to have. It isn't too great on Ludociel himself but can help other units to a decent degree.
Gear Recommendation[]
This equipment set is used because Ludociel is more about staying alive and supporting the team rather than outputting his own damage.
Equipment Set[]
- Life (HP) / Iron Wall (Defense)
Sub-stats[]
- Bracer/Ring - Attack
- Necklace/Earring - Defense
- Belt/Rune - HP
PVP[]
While still usable in PVP, with the addition of his LR evolution, it’s recommended to use that LR version of Ludociel rather than relying on his UR version. Be warned that the LR evolution is more so for increased performance in PVP, not so much in PVE aside from higher stats. Again, Ludociel is used in the Archangel/Goddess team. This is always with the usage of Light Mael of Sunshine and other units that can be experimented with. These units can range from Light Queen Elizabeth on the frontline, to Blue Tristan or Red Ragnarok Ban in the sub-slot. Check out different team builds here.
PVE[]
For the most part, Ludociel is usable in most content in the game. These include (but are not limited to) Demonic Beast Battles, Death Matches, and Story Mode. To be specific in the case of Demonic Beast Battles, Ludociel can be used in Hraesvelgr. While he is not optimal to clear it quickly, he can be used in a slower style that takes its time. Otherwise, he can be tossed onto the Goddess team in the Nidhoggr Demonic Beast Battle as a support character.

Story[]
Ludociel is the leader of the Four Archangels of the Goddess Clan and also the leader of Stigma.
When Ludociel feels the presence of someone with an appropriate soul to be his vessel, he calls her to the altar on which he was sealed. Thus, Ludociel makes a deal with the young princess of Liones, she would grant him her body to be his vessel in exchange for saving Gilthunder. After this, Ludociel takes the body of Margaret and offers Hendrickson and Dreyfus in becoming members of his new Stigma and eradicating the Demon Clan.
In order to fulfill the deal with Margaret, Ludociel transports himself to the Druid Altar where Gilthunder was held captive by Vivian. Once there, Ludociel pierced Vivian's throat with his rapier, affirming that his promise to eliminate the sorceress and to free Gilthunder was fulfilled, being able from that point to take complete control of Margaret's body. Feeling the presence of a member of the Demon Clan near the altar, Ludociel releases a powerful attack against Zeldris who was in the middle of a negotiation with Merlin, claiming that it was a welcome greeting. Ludociel mentions how satisfied he is in Margaret's body, while Gilthunder asks why he chose her and demands that he release her, but Ludociel states that Margaret sacrificed herself to save him. When Zeldris emerges once again furious at the return of the Archangels, he launches his Dies Irae against Ludociel.
