When hit with a skill during the enemy's turn, the hero's Attack-related stats increase by 10%, up to 5 times, for 3 turns. If the hero does not take damage, all enemies' damage taken increases by 40% for 1 turn at the start of the allies' turn.
In addition, when the hero's Stance effect is removed, the Attack-related stats of all Unknown race Allies increase by 20% for 2 turns. The hero's basic stats increase by 7% for every Unknown race ally participating in battle.

Summary[]

[Pure-White Devil] Albedo, commonly known as Blue Albedo, was released as one of the featured units in the Seven Deadly Sins Grand Cross x Overlord Collab Pick-Up Draw banner (October 31, 2023 - November 20, 2023). Albedo’s kit makes her a unit of really high value since it allows her to Taunt her enemies since the first turn of the battle, punish her enemies either if they attack by increasing her offensive capabilities, as well as if they refuse to do it by increasing the damage they receive. She also can use a Stance, which can Taunt her enemies and has an extra effect, increasing the damage she deals on each counter-attack for each buff she has when an enemy attacks her. Furthermore, she can boost her Crit Chance and Crit Damage with her Ultimate Move while dealing extra damage per each Stance activated.

Pros[]

Her Unique sets a Taunt from the moment the battle starts and reduces the damage she receives for that turn.
Every time she gets attacked, she receives a buff, which increases her Attack-related stats.
Her Stance has a higher damage potential since it incorporates the Amplify effect.
She forces her enemies to attack her; otherwise, they will receive a debuff, increasing the damage they receive.
Her Ultimate Move doesn’t require many dupes to be genuinely effective.
She can reduce the damage her enemies deal.
She can increase her Basic Stats when setting a Stance and for each Unknown race ally, she will increase her Unknown allies’ Attack-related stats if her Stance gets removed by the enemy or expires on it’s own.

Cons[]

She’s a limited unit since she’s from a Collab; hence, she won’t return in a long time.
In the same line, as most Collab units, she has one entire outfit available for diamonds, but the others are only purchasable with real money.
Enemies immune to debuffs (Like Demonic Beast Battles and Late Story Mode Bosses) or that can cleanse debuffs can avoid attacking her and not be affected by her Unique.
She relies significantly on RNG since she needs to draw Stance cards constantly.
Subspectable to Buff Removal and Stance Removal, Freeze, and Petrify that can remove her buffs and stances at the same time

Skill Review[]

Pillar of Muspelheim - A single target skill that allows her to reduce the damage her target deals. It works as a setup for her to prevent her enemies from killing Albedo too fast when she sets her Stance.

Untouchable - Albedo’s signature skill sets a Stance that Taunts all enemies, effectively forcing all enemies to attack her. Her Stance mainly works with her Unique, which will make the most of her second effect, which is Amplify, increasing the damage Albedo deals on each counter-attack depending on how many blue buffs she has.

Ultimate Move: True Hatred - Her Ultimate Move can increase her Crit Chance by 50% upon usage. Furthermore, it can increase her Crit Damage and the Quell effect by an escalating amount depending on how many dupes it has. This skill is potent even at 1/6. It also will work with her Stance with more buffs for her Amplify Counter to use.

Unique: Absolute Defense - Albedo’s Unique applies a Taunt on her upon starting the battle, forcing all enemies to attack her while decreasing the damage she receives by 50%. Albedo will increase her Basic Stats by 7% for each Unknown race ally and by an extra 20% when she uses a Stance. Also, if an enemy attacks Albedo, she will increase her Attack-related Stats, working in conjunction with her Stance’s Amplify by increasing the damage exponentially. If Albedo doesn’t receive any damage during the enemy turn, she will apply a debuff on all enemies, which increases the damage they receive by 40% for one turn at the start of her turn. Also, if the enemy removes her Stance, the Attack-related stats of all her Unknown race allies will be increased by 20%. Her Unique makes Albedo a well-rounded unit, and it’s the core of her strategy to fight by forcing the enemy to either attack and risk getting killed by a deadly counter or during her turn by her allies.

Gear Recommendation[]

Albedo is a hero who needs high durability to stay in battle, continuously threatening the enemy. Hence, her preferred gear is HP/Defense. However, her high damage potential makes her an ideal candidate for HP/Lifesteal gear, given that her counters will grow in strength over time, allowing her to make up for the lost HP, increasing her durability to a maximum potential if she has Red Tarmiel as a linked unit. Her insane durability with this gear can even help you move Red Tarmiel to another unit since she will instantly recover any HP lost by herself.

Usage[]

Albedo is a highly flexible unit you can use in several teams across all game modes, including PVP, PVE, or even endgame content. Thanks to her counters Albedo’s damage potential, few units in the game can compare to her.

PVP[]

Albedo shines in PVP, where she can serve as a tank and a DPS at the same time, making her a high-priority target while, at the same time, a unit that your enemies will hesitate to attack. Her Counters will corner your enemies to undesired situations where they have to either attack her Stance early in the game (and kill her as soon as possible) to prevent her counters from growing out of control or not attack her just to get her enemies killed by her allies in their turn, forcing them into hard choices every turn, thus creating an oppressive environment on the battlefield. She can also debuff the enemies to reduce the damage they deal even further if they dare to attack her, making her even harder to kill. Breaking her Stance is also something the enemy won’t want since it’ll strengthen Albedo and her allies. Ideally, she should be in a formation of only Unknown race units to make the most of her Unique, with her best team including Red Tyr, Dark Queen Hel, and Blue Nanashi as a Sub-unit. Furthermore, Albedo can fit in many different teams, varying from mono-race to full Stances or full Collab with Red Shalltear and Blue Naofumi to force the enemy to grant your allies their Berserk and Mark of Wrath stacks or risk receiving massive damage during your turn.

PVE[]

Although Albedo isn’t an excellent unit for farming, she still shines in PVE, where enemies are more reckless when fighting. Albedo also shines against late-game Story chapters or even Demonic Beast Battles. With her counters, she can easily defeat any problematic enemy with enough stacks on her Attack-related stats. Also, since most of the damage caps are applied “during the player turn,” Albedo can easily bypass this restriction by attacking with her Counters during the enemy turn. However some of them have buff and/or Stance Removal Cards that can pose a issue to her.

Overall, Blue Albedo is one of the best units in the game, able to be an MVP for all game contents and allow even new players to surpass the most challenging parts of it.

Albedo (アルベド) is the Overseer of the Guardians of the Great Tomb of Nazarick. She is in charge of the general management and supervision of the activities done by the seven Floor Guardians, meaning that she ranks above the other NPCs in Nazarick. She is the middle sister of the older sister Nigredo and younger sister Rubedo. Along with her sisters, she was created by Tabula Smaragdina.
